All About Strut Channel

From the Experts if All Things Fastening

Often known by several proprietary names such as “G-STRUT”, “Unistrut”, “C-Strut”, "Hilti Strut", and many more, this product is designed for providing light structural support, for services such as with wiring, mechanical or plumbing components. Objects suspended from strut channel may be as varied as airconditioning or ventilation systems, pipes, electrical conduit, or anything that is roof-installed within a building.

Usually formed from metal sheet, this product is folded over along its edges to create a channel shape that holds fastening connectors from the ceiling or roof. Several pre-drilled holes in the channel allow for a flexible choice of where to fasten it, and its interconnectivity accommodates vast length of channel and perpendicular junctions. The channel itself allows a hanger to be placed anywhere along it, so repositioning is easy. At Allfasteners, we only stock the highest quality hardware for suspending services. Inquiries?
